Terms of Use Agreement

By using SingDating.com, you agree to be bound by our Terms of Use. These terms are formulated with the objective of creating a safe environment for all our members to partake in online dating. You are required to accept these terms in order to join the service. These terms may be amended and updated from time to time by SingDating.com without prior notice to you. The new terms will become binding on all members from the time they are first displayed on the site. Violation of these terms may lead to termination of your membership and suspension from future use of the service. The following are the terms of use:

1. Acceptance of Terms

This Agreement is a legal document which sets out your rights and obligations, and those of ‘SingDating.com', in relation to this site and the services offered by SingDating.com. You must take the time to read and understand it, before registering for the dating service. By registering, you accept that you are entering into a contract with us on the terms of this Agreement. By doing so, you also represent and warrant that you have the right, authority and capacity to enter this agreement and to abide to all its terms and conditions. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and international laws as applicable.

2. Membership Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to register as a member of SingDating.com or use the website. People who register for SingDating.com become members. Currently, membership is free of charge to all.

3. Membership Termination

This Agreement will remain in effect whenever you use the website or become a member. We reserve the right to terminate your access to the site for any reason. SingDating.com may terminate your membership upon sending notice to the email address you provide in your application for membership or any other email addresses which you may later provide.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any member's access to the SingDating.com dating service, or parts of it, and/or to edit, or require the member to edit, material posted on SingDating.com, if the relevant member or material appears to us to be in breach of any term in this Agreement. Any person whose access has been suspended or terminated must not re-register for, or re-access, the SingDating.com Service without our prior consent. You are responsible for everything which is done on or through the SingDating.com dating service while your membership account is logged on to SingDating.com.

4. Profile Registration

You undertake to register for dating services at SingDating.com using accurate and current information about yourself - including your correct name, address and any other requested details. As part of the registration process, you will receive a verification email, the purpose of which is to ensure that the email address you have nominated during registration is rightfully yours. That email contains simple instructions for you to activate your membership.

5. Member Conduct

SingDating.com is not and cannot be responsible for the behaviour of Members. SingDating.com does not monitor or pre-screen the material contributed by its members. We only provide an online venue where people can interact and get to know each other.

As a member, you agree that you will not use SingDating.com for any illegal purpose or that is not permitted by this Agreement. You agree that when updating your profile or communicating with other members, you shall not do any of the following:

• Post or distribute any obscene, pornographic, indecent, defamatory or illegal material or information.
• Harass, insult, defame, threaten or violate the legal rights of other members in any way.
• Violate any applicable law, or infringe the intellectual property or other legal rights of any person or organization.

6. Member Dispute

SingDating.com will not be held responsible for your interactions with other members. However, we reserve the right, but no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and fellow members.

7. Privacy Policy

As SingDating.com’s Privacy Policy forms part of this Agreement, agreeing to this Agreement implies that you also give your consent to the terms in our privacy policy.

8. Operation of Services

From time to time, SingDating.com or its affiliates may offer new or additional services through the dating site. As a member of SingDating.com, your use of these services may be subject to additional terms and conditions which you have to comply with.

SingDating.com reserves the right to withdraw or modify one or more aspects of our dating services, or the entirety of it, where we have legal or commercial reasons to do so. There may be times when the site becomes inaccessible as a result of technical difficulties experienced by SingDating.com or on the Internet. We will, for our part, engage the assistance of suitable expertise to overcome these difficulties where they are within our control.

9. Prohibited Content

The following is a partial list of the kind of content that is illegal or prohibited on the website. SingDating.com reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action in its sole discretion against anyone who violates this provision, including without limitation, removing the offending communication from the service and terminating the membership of such violators. It includes content that:

• is patently offensive to the online community, such as content that promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual;
• harasses or advocates harassment of another person;
• involves the transmission of "junk mail", "chain letters," or unsolicited mass mailing or "spamming";
• promotes information that you know is false, misleading or promotes illegal activities or conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libelous;
• promotes an illegal or unauthorized copy of another person’s copyrighted work, such as providing pirated computer programs or links to them, providing information to circumvent manufacture-installed copy-protect devices, or providing pirated music or links to pirated music files;
• contains restricted or password only access pages, or hidden pages or images (those not linked to or from another accessible page);
• provides instructional information about illegal activities such as making or buying illegal weapons, violating someone’s privacy, or providing or creating computer viruses;
• solicits passwords or personal identifying information for commercial or unlawful purposes from other users;
• engages in commercial activities and/or sales without our prior written consent such as contests, sweepstakes, barter, advertising, and pyramid schemes.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

You acknowledge that all copyright, trade marks, and other intellectual property rights in and relating to SingDating.com (including the material which is contributed by Members) are owned by SingDating.com. You undertake not to copy, distribute, show in public or create any derivative work from SingDating.com without our permission.

You agree that all information and material uploaded or submitted to the site becomes the intellectual property and copyright of SingDating.com. By uploading or submitting any material or content to SingDating.com, you grant us a worldwide royalty-free license to use, distribute, modify, reproduce, or publicly display that material in any form, anywhere. You also authorize us to adapt the relevant material in the course of doing so, and so waive your rights to object to the way it is used, or be identified as the author of the material in question.

11. Advertisements and Promotions

By using SingDating.com, you agree that SingDating.com has the right to run such advertisements and promotions. Your correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of, advertisers found on or through the Service, including payment and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such advertiser. You agree that SingDating.com shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of such advertisers on the Service.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold SingDating.com, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, co-branders or other partners, and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your Content, your use of the Service, your connection to the Service, or your violation of the Terms of Service.

We will not be liable to you or any third party for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, or for any loss of data, profit, revenue or business, howsoever caused (whether arising out of any negligence or breach of this Agreement or otherwise). SingDating.com will also not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement caused by matters beyond its reasonable control.

13. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

SingDating.com is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate Content posted on the Website or in connection with the Service, whether caused by users of the Website, Members or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Service. SingDating.com is not responsible for the conduct, whether online or offline, of any user of the Website or Member of the Service. SingDating.com assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or Member communications. SingDating.com is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to users and/or Members or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in connection with the Web and/or in connection with the Service. Under no circumstances will SingDating.com be responsible for any loss or damage, including personal injury or death, resulting from anyone's use of the Website or the Service, any Content posted on the Website or transmitted to Members, or any interactions between users of the Website, whether online or offline.

The Website and the Service are provided on a "as-is" basis and SingDating.com expressly disclaims any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. SingDating.com cannot guarantee and does not promise any specific results from use of the Website and/or the Service.

14. Severability of Terms

In the event that any term of this Agreement is deemed to be invalid or unenforceable by a competent court of jurisdiction, the remainder of this Agreement shall remain valid and in full force.
